Day, evening and full-day shifts
A hall can host a nikah in the afternoon and a valima the same evening. Two bookings, one date, and the calendar knows a full-day booking closes both.
Venue & event booking
Khaas Venues is wedding hall booking software for Karachi banquet halls and marquees. Every date, every shift and every advance sits in one place — and every venue gets a free public website where families can check a date themselves before they ring you.
The problem
Most wedding halls in Karachi run on a register, a WhatsApp thread and the manager's memory. That works right up until the day it doesn't — and the day it doesn't is a week before somebody's shaadi, with two families holding the same date and both of them right.
The manager writes it in the diary at the hall. The owner confirms a date on WhatsApp from Dubai. Neither of them is wrong; there is just no single place where a date is either taken or free.
Each call is ten minutes of the same questions — is the 14th free, what's your rate for 600, is the second hall available. Four of those five calls were never going to book, and they ate the manager's whole afternoon.
Two lakh comes in cash. Someone writes a figure on the back of the booking slip. Three months later the family says they paid more, and the only record is a number in handwriting that could say anything.
Whoever is chasing leads on Facebook has no idea which dates are still open, which enquiries were followed up, or which ones were closed last week. So enquiries get chased twice, or not at all.
Search 'banquet hall in Gulshan' and the hall is nowhere — no site, no photos, no capacity, no way to check a date. Halls half its size are getting the enquiries because somebody built them a page.
From October to March the hall is full and nobody counts. In the quiet months the owner finally asks how many bookings came from where, and there is no answer anywhere except the register.
How Khaas Venues works
A hall sells one event per shift per day. That is the entire rule the system enforces, and enforcing it in one place is most of the value. Everything else — enquiries, quotations, advances, the website — hangs off the same calendar.
Name, minimum and maximum guests, per-head or fixed pricing, photos, facilities. Fifteen minutes per hall, done with you on a call, and the existing bookings in the register go in alongside them.
Pick a date and a shift and the calendar answers immediately. If a hall already has a tentative or confirmed booking on that shift, the system refuses the second one — it does not warn, it refuses.
Website form, WhatsApp, a phone call, a family that walked in — they all land in one inbox with the date and guest count attached. Turn one into a quotation, then into a booking, in a couple of clicks.
Advance now, second payment in January, balance on the day. Each payment is logged against that booking with a method and a date, and the outstanding figure updates itself.
What you get
A hall can host a nikah in the afternoon and a valima the same evening. Two bookings, one date, and the calendar knows a full-day booking closes both.
Bookings made on the dashboard, made by a manager, or made from the phone app all go through the same check. There is no path into the calendar that skips it.
Live the day you sign up, on your own address, with your halls, photos, capacities, facilities and map. The venue is also listed under its Karachi area in the directory.
Classic, Modern, Elegant, Bold or Minimal, eight colour schemes, your logo and photos. Pick and go — no drag-and-drop builder, no code, nothing to learn.
A family enters a date and a guest count on your site and sees which of your halls fits and is free. The ones who call you have already qualified themselves.
Website, WhatsApp, phone and walk-in all in one list with a status on each. Nothing sits unanswered because it came in on a channel one person watches.
Hall, package, menu, guest count, discount and tax on a numbered quotation you can send on WhatsApp. Revise it and the previous version stays, so you can prove what was offered.
Every payment logged with amount, method and date against its booking. One screen tells you what is still owed on every event this month.
Managers do the day-to-day booking work. Pricing, the website, settings and anything business-wide stay with the owner.
Who it's for
One place that answers what is booked, what is owed and what came in this month — without ringing the hall to ask.
The date question answered in two seconds instead of fetching the register, and a booking that the owner can see the moment it is made.
Every lead in one list with a status on it, and a real website to send people to instead of a Facebook album.
Check the date and the guest count on the hall's own site at 11pm, then call the one hall that actually fits.
Three marquees under one name, three calendars, one owner who wants to see all of them without three phone calls.
Why it pays for itself
Not 'less likely' — the system will not write a second booking onto a shift that is already sold, no matter who is typing. One avoided clash in a season covers the year's subscription several times over.
A hall with a Facebook page and nothing else gets a real website with its halls, capacities, photos and area, plus a listing on the Karachi directory. That is the difference between being compared and never being seen.
Every advance and part-payment sits against its event. In the quiet months you can finally see how many bookings came in, from which source, and what is still outstanding.
Where it runs
For the owner and the managers. Calendar, enquiries, quotations, bookings, payments, staff, vendors and the website editor.
Every venue gets one on its own address — halls, gallery, facilities, availability checker and an enquiry form that lands in the dashboard.
Families browse venues and check dates without signing in. Owners and managers sign in with the same account for today's bookings, enquiries and a quick new booking.
